Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures with independent judgment, ensuring high diagnostic quality
- Set up imaging equipment and position patients for CT exams according to department procedures
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, providing age-appropriate care as needed
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
- Interpret orders, verify patient information, and document procedures accurately
- Communicate effectively with radiology team to ensure timely exam completion and proper image labeling
Requirements
- Ability to independently perform CT imaging examinations and obtain quality diagnostic studies
- Flexibility to work nights and to adapt to department scheduling needs
- Proficient in setting up imaging equipment and positioning patients for CT procedures
- Commitment to patient safety, radiologic safety standards, and department protocols
- Capable of working autonomously as well as within a team
- Reliable, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with staff and patients
