Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents under supervision of a registered nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care during shifts.
- Monitor resident status, document vitals and pertinent observations, and report changes to the supervising RN.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and ensure adherence to care plans and facility policies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident safety, comfort, and quality of life; participate in handoffs and care planning.
Requirements
- Local candidate for Santa Fe, NM area
- Availability to work the night shift (3x12-hour shifts)
- Contract duration of approximately 14 weeks and guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting with professional, compassionate care
- Current, active LPN license (state of New Mexico) or eligibility to obtain licensure as required
