Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision and in collaboration with the care team
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects, documenting accurately
- Assess resident conditions, report changes to the supervising nurse, and participate in care planning
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote residents’ comfort, dignity, and safety
- Perform basic nursing procedures, wound care, and specimen collection as directed
- Maintain accurate charting and ensure infection control practices are followed
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligibility to work in a long-term care setting in New Mexico
