Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiac Cath/EP Lab) – Travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: 05/18/2026. 13-week contract. Weekly pay: $2,825–$2,870 per week. Guaranteed Hours: 0.0. Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, primarily days with some evenings and on-call per unit needs. Responsibilities
- Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for invasive cardiac procedures, including setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment
- Function in multiple roles within the procedure team (scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor) to support cardiac cath and EP interventions
- Anticipate equipment needs, operate lab equipment, and maintain sterile instruments throughout cases
- Assist with right and left heart hemodynamics, interventional procedures (PCI/ CTO), and associated vascular interventions as part of the cath lab team
- Support structural heart workflows (e.g., TAVR, Watchman) and complex device involvement as applicable
- Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and chart/documentation requirements; maintain high level of organizational skills
Requirements
- RCIS certification through CCI or ARRT; NYS requirements to grandfather into Public Health Law 2824
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- COVID-19 vaccine completed per policy (vaccine card required)
- Active Radiologic Technologist licensure or equivalent per NYS requirements (RCIS/ARRT)
- Ability to work in a hospital-based cath lab, performing scrub, circulator, and documentation duties as needed
