Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular imaging with attention to image quality, patient safety, and protocol adherence.
- Conduct breast ultrasound imaging and support or perform breast biopsies as indicated in a breast care center setting.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, document findings in the EPIC EMR system, and communicate results to radiologists and referring clinicians.
- Maintain adherence to ultrasound safety and quality standards, participate in quality assurance activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, 24/7 capable workflow with flexibility to cover additional shifts or weekends as needed.
Requirements
- ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular imaging
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Experience in a breast care center and performing breast biopsies
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- BLS certification
- License on file at time of submission
