Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director, perform radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, with ingenuity and initiative, to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
- Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required
- Properly position patients, select exposure factors, and ensure image quality while following radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Prepare and maintain radiology equipment, assist with patient preparation, and maintain documentation for procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to ensure accurate, timely diagnostic imaging and patient care
- Adhere to department policies, safety protocols, and state licensure requirements

Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Education: Graduate of an ARRT-accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification: ARRT-registered radiologic technologist
- Licensure: Licensed technologist by the State of Montana and by the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists
- Experience: Knowledge relative to the age of patients served; no specific years required beyond meeting licensure and certification standards
- Additional: Must be able to work in a hospital radiology department and meet the listed shift requirements
- Travel note: In-state Montana travelers will NOT be considered unless they are located more than 250 miles from the facility
