Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care to oncology patients, including peri-chemotherapy assessment, administration of chemotherapy per protocol, and management of infusion therapies.
- Monitor patient status continuously, administer medications, manage IV lines, and respond to adverse reactions or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the broader care team; document care in the electronic health record; communicate with patients and families about treatment plans.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, including chemotherapy handling procedures, infection control, and medication administration safety standards.
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, symptom management, discharge planning, and follow-up needs.
- Participate in unit operations and quality initiatives; support holiday coverage and cross-functional teamwork as required.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification and demonstrated ability to administer chemotherapy
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week; willingness to participate in holiday coverage as required by assignment policy (two major holidays and one minor holiday)
