Responsibilities
- Perform assessment/data collection on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status; implement care using the Nursing Process.
- Plan, implement, and document patient care in accordance with policies, procedures, and care plans; maintain regulatory compliance.
- Identify and address learning needs; provide patient and family teaching as defined by policy and care plans.
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities and supervise assigned coworkers to ensure quality of care.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team; participate in problem-solving, admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and professional appearance; adhere to organizational standards and lines of authority.

Requirements
- Licensure: Current Washington State RN license
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Certifications: Healthcare Provider-level BLS (within 30 days of hire, American Heart Association or equivalent); ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS within 12 months; TNCC within 12 months; Moderate Sedation training within 12 months; ED-CEN certification preferred
- Experience: Acute care RN experience preferred; minimum one year RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments
- Skills: Ability to perform the primary functions of an RN across the age continuum; strong critical thinking and decision-making; effective delegation and team leadership; capable of working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; proficient with charting in electronic medical records
