Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for PCU/IMCU patients presenting with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, toxic/metabolic disturbances, substance use, or encephalopathy.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, respiratory status, and daily clinical progress; titrate medications and infusions (including heparin drips) as ordered.
- Administer medications and therapies, establish IV access, manage monitoring devices, and interpret basic labs and trends to support clinical decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, pharmacists, and ancillary teams to ensure safe, efficient care and timely disposition planning.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record; ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility per state requirements)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU/IMCU or similar high-acuity, step-down care
- Proficiency in IV therapy, heparin infusions, continuous monitoring, and interpreting routine labs
- Ability to work night shifts on a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced hospital setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
