Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including routine assessments, med administration, and monitoring of health status.
- Implement and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor vital signs, report changes, and respond to clinical emergencies following facility protocols.
- Document care accurately in patient records and ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support patient and family education on care plans, medications, and safety practices; uphold infection control and safety policies.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (or eligible for NM licensure per local requirements)
- Relevant experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:30) in a high-demand environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment and adapt to a new facility
