Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to the plan of care
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and document changes promptly
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility needs
- Communicate changes in condition to the supervising RN and participate in care planning
- Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record and follow facility policies and infection control practices
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts
- Prior LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Knowledge of nursing practice standards and patient safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and work within local assignment requirements
