Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care for residents during night shifts in a long-term care setting
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders, observing safety protocols
- Monitor resident status, document assessments, vital signs, and any changes in condition
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and physicians to implement and adjust care plans
- Maintain infection control, safety, and patient comfort; respond promptly to calls
- Support residents with activities of daily living while preserving dignity and privacy during night hours
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
- Eligibility to practice in the applicable state
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and meet schedule demands
