Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor status, and adjust care plans as needed using clinical judgment
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document treatments accurately
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive discharge planning and continuity of care
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and uphold professional standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to participate in a temporary travel assignment
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required by assignment
