Surgical Tech (travel) – Surgical Tech specialty in Atlanta, GA. Start date 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,261–$1,326. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: Day shift, 12x3 pattern, 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.; includes call, weekends and holidays; no block scheduling. Work setting: hospital operating room team supporting general and specialty procedures.

Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and assist the surgical team during procedures; maintain instrument counts and sterile technique.
- Scrub in and circulate as needed; pass instruments, retract tissue, and manage sterile supplies and equipment.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and intraoperative transport; support patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team; anticipate surgeon needs and manage intraoperative equipment.
- Provide support for high-acuity cases, including Level 1 trauma and burn procedures as available; adhere to unit protocols and safety standards.
- Complete required intraoperative documentation and handoffs according to department procedures.
Requirements
- Travel assignment experience preferred.
- Level 1 trauma experience with strong skills; high rating on skills set.
- Burn experience preferred.
- Ability to work a day shift with call, weekends, and holidays; able to operate in a hospital OR setting.
