LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) travel assignment in Silver City, New Mexico, starting 04/01/2026 for 6 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and weekly pay between $1,078 and $1,151. Shift is 06:00–18:30 (12.5 hours). Work setting: long-term care facility. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents per established plans of care and under supervision of an RN.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and document all administration.
- Monitor resident status, vital signs, and respond promptly to changes; escalate concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support mobility and comfort.
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and documentation; ensure safety, infection prevention, and quality of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and communicate resident needs effectively.
Requirements
- Active, current LPN license in good standing (state-specific; NM or eligibility to obtain).
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain.
- Education: diploma from an accredited LPN program.
- Experience: prior long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting; competent in basic charting and teamwork.
