Registered Nurse, Med Surg in Atlanta, GA (travel assignment) beginning 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,625–$1,711 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, in a hospital setting providing general medical and surgical care, admissions and post-admission processes on a 10-bed unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care for adult patients on a Med/Surg unit, including reassessment and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and routine treatments; assess responses and adjust care plans as needed.
- Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient flow and safety.
- Monitor vital signs, identify changes in condition, respond to emergencies, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain unit safety, infection control practices, and patient-centered communication in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment (approximate 5:1 patient ratio).
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license with Nursys verification
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet mandatory holiday coverage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced admissions-focused unit
