Registered Nurse – Outpatient travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for 8 contract weeks in a short-term acute care hospital outpatient setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment findings, and develop a plan of care to attain defined outcomes.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; participate in discharge planning.
- Evaluate progress toward outcomes; adjust plans as needed; delegate duties appropriately.
- Provide education to patients, families, and the healthcare team; maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).
Requirements
- RN licensure in the state of practice (California) required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in the field
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per policy; CPR certification required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required
- Epic experience required
