This is a travel RN role with a focus on direct patient care, assessment, and coordinating care in a geriatric long-term care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, document findings, and implement the nursing plan of care
- Administer medications and monitor responses; manage wound care per facility standards
- Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs; coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor residents for changes in condition; respond quickly to clinical needs and document accurately
- Communicate clearly with families, team members, and other health professionals; maintain thorough and timely documentation

Requirements
- NY State Registered Nurse license (active, in good standing)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care; LTAC experience preferred
- Experience with wound care in a geriatric population
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment with 12-hour shifts; willingness to cover days/evenings/nights, weekends, on-call and holidays per unit need
- Telemetry experience is not required but may be beneficial
