Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiography procedures, including CT imaging, to produce diagnostic images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
- Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, minimize anxiety; position patient and equipment to best demonstrate the area of interest; immobilize as required.
- Operate radiography and CT equipment, select appropriate exposure factors, ensure dose optimization and patient safety; document relevant clinical information for use by a licensed practitioner.
- Evaluate images for technical quality, verify proper identification, and assist with interventional radiography procedures as needed, including fluoroscopic guidance.
- Conduct venipuncture for contrast administration when required; maintain aseptic technique and observe universal precautions; provide patient education related to procedures and post-procedure care.
- Complete CT skills check and maintain proficiency in CT protocols (head, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis) and safe contrast usage; participate in required education and apply professional judgment in all duties.

Requirements
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licenses/Certifications: OBMI and ARRT registered CT technologist; current BLS certification.
- Experience: Radiologic technology experience with CT procedures; ability to perform venipuncture and operate CT equipment; strong patient care and communication skills.
- Additional: Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment; adherence to safety protocols and documentation standards.
- Preferred: CRASE training; if travel extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required.
