Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient OB/GYN ultrasound examinations, including anatomy scans, dating, NT measurements, and Biophysical Profiles (BPPs) per protocol.
- Acquire high-quality images, optimize imaging parameters, and document measurements and preliminary findings for radiologist review.
- Explain procedures to patients, assist with positioning, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
- Maintain accurate patient records, label and store images appropriately, and support efficient room turnover.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, radiologists, and other team members; communicate critical findings promptly.
- Adhere to ALARA principles, infection control standards, and department quality-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Active OB/GYN ARDMS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient OB/GYN ultrasound experience
- Proficiency in anatomy, dating, NT measurements, and BPPs
- Ability to work a 40-hour week, day shift, in an outpatient OB/GYN ultrasound setting
- Location: Cumming, GA, United States
