Role specifics and benefits:
- Responsibilities: Provide safe, competent LPN care on medical-surgical units, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications per policy and physician orders, performing wound care, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting telemetry monitoring as needed. You will assist with patient positioning and mobility, participate in rounds with RNs and physicians, document accurately in electronic health records, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly. You’ll contribute to care planning, deliver patient and family education, reinforce infection control practices, support discharge planning, and uphold safety standards to prevent falls and other complications.
