Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of occupational therapy treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions, aligned with department objectives.
- Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, contributing to collaborative care plans.
- Assess patient needs, develop and document treatment goals, and monitor progress toward outcomes.
- Implement OT interventions to improve activities of daily living and functional independence.
- Communicate findings with patients, families, and the care team; participate in care planning and adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license in California or eligibility for licensure.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting preferred; ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to work the listed shift in a hospital setting located in Simi Valley, California.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; commitment to patient-centered care.
