Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist – travel assignment in Denver, Colorado. Start date 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,468 to $2,513. Shift: 8 hours. Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and determine the appropriateness of therapy needs; develop, implement, and revise Plan of Care (POC) and progress notes.
- Evaluate and address ROM, strength, coordination, ADL independence, and environmental modifications; fabricate and maintain adaptive equipment and hand splints as needed.
- Conduct direct therapeutic interventions to improve self-care, work, leisure, and rest-related skills; address sensory-motor, psycho-social, and cognitive-perceptual factors affecting performance.
- Document procedures, organize data, and maintain accurate records; communicate patient information to physicians and caregivers while protecting confidentiality.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; consult with physicians regarding patient status; promote safe care through infection control practices and universal precautions.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and maintenance of OT equipment; participate in scheduling and coverage to meet patient needs in a SNF setting.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado (state license required)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Minimum of two years of OT experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Demonstrated ability to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment and to travel locally as needed
