MRI Technologist / Radiology Tech travel assignment in York, Maine. Start date 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,935–$1,984. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift pattern is 3 x 12-hour day shifts (6:30 am–7:00 pm), Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with possible variable shifts based on census. Work setting: hospital imaging department on a travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures using established protocols and equipment, building and following exam protocols as needed
- Screen patients for contraindications and ensure safety per ACR and facility protocols
- Explain MRI procedures to patients, address questions, and maintain professionalism and patient comfort
- Enforce safety around the MRI environment, including removing hazardous metal objects and monitoring for patient risk
- Monitor patients visually and verbally during exams and assist with procedural workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, assist with equipment checks, and support inventory and workflow as needed
Requirements
- ARRT registered (radiography and/or MRI as applicable)
- BCLS certification obtained within 4 months of hire and maintained thereafter
- Education: Associate degree or certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program
- Influenza vaccination required by the State of Maine unless a medical exemption is provided and approved by Employee Health
- Experience: Prior MRI experience preferred; ability to work in a hospital imaging department as a travel staff member
