Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including patient services, personnel, scheduling, finance and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and protocols governing imaging services.
- Supervise and direct activities of imaging staff at various levels using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
- Coordinate workflow to maintain safe, efficient imaging services; oversee equipment maintenance and quality control; collaborate with the care team.
- Develop and monitor imaging service budgets and procurement, and support continuous quality improvement in imaging delivery.
Requirements
- Supervisory or leadership experience in diagnostic imaging or radiology
- Ability to supervise and lead staff in a regulated, high-volume imaging environment
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations and standards for diagnostic imaging
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a home healthcare - hospice setting
