This travel nursing role is in a hospital setting and requires immediate credentialing and strong teamwork across disciplines to support perinatal care goals.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients in labor and delivery according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels; coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members.
- Collect and analyze relevant data; identify diagnoses and care needs; develop, implement, and evaluate a patient care plan.
- Provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the health care team; maintain a safe, healing, and compassionate environment.
- Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment in clinical decision-making and patient advocacy.

Requirements
- Licenses: Active RN licensure in the state of practice (California)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor; ACLS; NRP
- Experience: At least two years of recent acute care field experience
- Education: BSN preferred
- Technology: Recent EPIC and Cerner experience required
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting; willingness to work a 12-hour day shift pattern as listed
