Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ICU patients, including monitoring hemodynamics and clinical status
- Administer medications, titrate therapies, and operate or supervise life-support equipment as directed
- Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to implement and adjust individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies, anticipate deteriorations, and implement escalation procedures
- Ensure patient safety, adhere to infection control practices, and maintain accurate, timely charting
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license to practice in Georgia (or eligibility)
- ICU nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in a travel assignment
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen per program requirements
- Willingness to travel and adapt to varying unit schedules
- Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
