Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel) in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,810–$1,850. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: hospital ER with a 28-bed unit, including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced ER, including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and treatment of acute conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, airway support, wound care, and cardiac monitoring; assist with trauma and resuscitation as needed.
- Coordinate with physicians, nursing teammates, and ancillary staff to ensure timely patient throughput and safe transfers/dispositions.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic health record; uphold accuracy, privacy, and infection control standards.
- Respond to emergencies (code/STAT situations), participate in stabilization, and support family communication and education.
- Maintain professional responsibilities, including adherence to policies, comfort measures, and continuous quality improvement in the ED.

Requirements
- Hawaii State RN license (active) required; license must be in place by start of assignment.
- Certification requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Additional certifications are optional but preferred: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC.
- ER nursing experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferred.
- Must be able to arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health onboarding and related requirements.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; willing to participate in a travel assignment as described.
