Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER), Utica, NY. Travel - Temporary Assignment. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,986–$2,051 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights (14:30–03:00). Setting: hospital emergency department with a 64-bed unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-volume ED for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, including newborns and pediatrics when applicable.
- Perform triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, administer medications, start IVs, and support rapid interventions per physician orders.
- Monitor patient status, assist with procedures, manage airway and ventilatory support as needed, and respond to emergencies following established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other care team members to optimize patient flow, provide education, and coordinate discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.
- Demonstrate flexibility with unit needs, including floating to related ED areas as census and patient acuity require.

Requirements
- Licenses: Active New York RN license with Nursys verification required
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC and NIHSS are required
- Experience: 3+ years of ED experience with some pediatric exposure; travel experience is required
- EMR: Proficient with EPIC (EMR experience required)
- Residency for travel: Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility; locals within 75 miles paid at local rate
- Documentation: Up-to-date resume; documentation of travel experience; 3+ years ED experience including some pediatric exposure
- Other: Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics; RTO (request for time off) must be included at submission
