Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervision to ensure safe, evidence-based care
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and monitor responses
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes; ensure accuracy and compliance with policies
- Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing self-care needs

- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Comfort working in a hospital setting and within a fast-paced environment
