Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Lodi, California. Start date: 05/18/2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). Weekly pay: $2,428 to $2,597 per week. Guaranteed hours: 13 contract weeks. Setting: hospital. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for labor and delivery patients and assigned groups according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff on the shift; coordinate care with obstetric, anesthesia, neonatal, and other disciplines as needed.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status; implement orders and therapeutic interventions; document care and patient responses.
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and patient education for patients and families.
- Maintain patient safety, adhere to infection control practices, and support quality outcomes and evidence-based practice.
- Use critical thinking and professional judgment to adapt plans as labor progresses and patient needs change.
Requirements
- Active RN license (California) or eligibility to obtain CA licensure
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Experience in labor and delivery or acute care setting preferred
- Willingness to complete credentialing and background checks as required
- Travel assignment readiness and compliance with applicable policies and procedures
