Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care under supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming
- Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises using proper body mechanics
- Observe and report changes in resident condition, vital signs, pain, appetite, and overall well-being to the nursing team
- Support residents with meals and hydration; assist with feeding as needed and document intake
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable micro-environment; perform routine housekeeping tasks related to care
- Document care provided and follow individualized care plans; adhere to infection control and safety policies
Requirements
- Active CNA certification (state-appropriate) or eligibility to practice as a CNA in NH
- Ability to work evenings and participate in a rotating weekend schedule
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Comfort working in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Dependable, with good patient safety and infection control practices
- Ability to pass regulatory health screenings and background checks as required
