Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED across adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
- Conduct triage, rapid assessment, ongoing monitoring, and care planning
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and urgent interventions per orders; manage fluids and labs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team; communicate changes and dispositions
- Document care accurately in EPIC EMR; maintain current vitals, treatments, and patient status
- Respond to emergencies, assist with resuscitations, and support patient and family education on discharge
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (current)
- EPIC EMR experience
- 2+ years ED experience; some pediatric exposure preferred
- Travel eligibility: must reside at least 75 miles from the assignment location; locals offered local rate
- Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
- RTO (return-to-orientation) must be included at submission
