Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per care plan under supervision of a registered nurse
- Monitor residents for changes in condition; report and document findings promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide mobility support and transfers as required
- Perform routine nursing tasks, wound care, and basic patient care activities per protocol
- Document care provided in the electronic health record accurately and timely
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and a clean, comfortable care environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality care
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (state of Nebraska preferred; eligibility for Nebraska travel assignment)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work nights on a rotating schedule; weekend coverage as required
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet facility compliance and patient privacy requirements
