Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients in a high-acuity setting
- Perform comprehensive assessments, establish and execute care plans, monitor vital signs and patient responses
- Administer medications and treatments per policy, monitor for adverse effects, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation, orders, and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies and standards
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or current state)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- No time off requests during the assignment (NO RTO)
- Nursys license verification required
- Candidate profile must include: resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card
