Responsibilities
- Provide total nursing care for patients through assessment, diagnosis, and development of patient care plans
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects
- Lead and collaborate with ancillary staff and the patient care team to uphold professional nursing standards
- Monitor patient status, document findings, and respond to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families, including discharge planning and follow-up instructions
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives in the clinical setting
Requirements
- Active RN license in Oklahoma
- 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience (MS) required
- Certifications: NIH and BLS (AHA) required
- Ability to work nights in a hospital setting
- Education: Nursing degree from an approved program
