Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents per established nursing plans and facility policies
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately
- Monitor residents for changes in condition; report to supervising RN promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living and care coordination; promote safety and comfort
- Record vital signs, perform routine procedures within scope (wound care, injections as allowed, specimen collection)
- Maintain accurate nursing notes and ensure infection control and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active LPN license for New Mexico (or eligible to practice in NM)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Education: graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Experience: prior LPN experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work in a 3x12-hour day shift and perform duties in a SNF environment
- Local candidates only; Albuquerque area or nearby
