Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Concord, New Hampshire. This travel assignment begins 07/13/2026 for a 10-week contract in a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory Care unit. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). Weekly pay ranges from $2,274 to $2,355, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The assignment takes place in a hospital setting with local-rate eligibility for candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, continuous nursing care for adult patients on a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory unit during night shift, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and assist with procedures; respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed
- Support airway management, respiratory care, wound care, and complex clinical needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Document care accurately in the Cerner EMR; ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination with physicians, respiratory therapists, and case management
- May be requested to float to affiliated facilities within the network based on unit staffing and patient needs
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission; license verification via NURSYS
- 2+ years of Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NHISS must be completed prior to start
- Dysrhythmia exam required during onboarding; preferred score of 80% or higher
- RTO (time off) requests must be included at the time of submission
- EMR experience with Cerner preferred but not required; ability to document accurately in the electronic record
- Ability to work nights in a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory unit; willingness to float to affiliated facilities as needed
