Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents within the scope of an LPN, under supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and document accurately in the charting system
- Monitor residents’ health status, perform routine nursing assessments, and report changes promptly
- Support activities of daily living and assist with mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain safe and clean care environments, follow infection control practices, and respond to resident calls and emergencies as needed
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (New Mexico preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and meet the demands of a high-need care environment
