Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care in Albuquerque, NM. Start date 03/16/2026 for an 8-week, local-only travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility. Weekly pay range $854-$867 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. This assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in long-term care, including monitoring health status, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, and reporting changes to the supervising RN.
- Conduct routine assessments, document care provided, and update care plans in the charting system.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care while promoting safety, dignity, and independence.
- Monitor for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, follow infection control and safety protocols, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during rounds.
- Support care coordination, including wound care, specimen collection as ordered, and documentation of interventions and outcomes.
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members; ensure accurate shift handoffs and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in good standing (New Mexico or eligibility to practice in NM)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and commit to 36 hours per week
- Local candidate located in Albuquerque, NM (LOCAL ONLY)
- Experience in or exposure to long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
