Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – travel assignment in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Start date: 03/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,631–$1,780 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Weekend Warrior schedule with an 8-hour shift on Friday or Monday (Day or PM) and 16 hours on Saturday and Sunday (Day or PM) in a skilled nursing, long-term care setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support under supervision of an RN or charge nurse
- Administer medications and treatments per plan of care and document responses
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and report changes promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living and dignity-centered care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record and care plans
- Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective care and patient safety
Requirements
- Active LPN license (Wisconsin)
- Willingness to work the specified weekend warrior schedule
- Ability to perform standard LPN nursing duties in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Competence in basic nursing procedures and patient safety principles
- Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
