Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care, located in Washington, NC, is sought for a travel, temporary assignment. Start date: 06/13/2026. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,331–$1,390. Shift is 5x8 evenings (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in a LTC – Nursing Home setting. This is a travel position through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents under supervision of a registered nurse or physician, in accordance with the plan of care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as allowed by licensure, facility policies, and state regulations; document administration accurately.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, condition changes, and responses to treatments; report significant findings promptly to the supervising clinician.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, including hygiene, dressing, and ambulation, while promoting resident dignity and independence.
- Document care delivery, updates to the care plan, and communication with the care team; participate in interdisciplinary rounds and family updates as appropriate.
- Maintain safety and infection control standards, manage lines and basic nursing equipment, and ensure a clean, organized care environment.
Requirements
- Active NC LPN license or compact license; BLS certification
- 1+ year of previous geriatric LPN experience
- Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work evenings (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and adapt to the shift schedule
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable with documentation and teamwork
- Ability to meet facility credentialing criteria and pass required screenings
