CT Technologist travel assignment in Lodi, CA. The role operates CT imaging to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation and may include general radiography and fluoroscopy. Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic cross-sectional images for physician interpretation.
- Perform additional imaging procedures as needed, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transmit images to the appropriate location; ensure image quality and proper labeling.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and related billing information while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manage supply inventory.
- Assess and support patients across adolescence through geriatric age groups, including IV access for contrast administration when qualified.
Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT in Radiography and CT (R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R)(ARRT)); California Radiologic Tech license required; CT Advanced Certification required
- Other licenses/credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Fluoroscopy license in California if operating fluoroscopy; Venipuncture certification
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field
- EPIC experience required
- Additional requirement: Current nursing license per the state of assignment
