Responsibilities
- Circulate in General OR and provide recovery (PACU) care for pediatric to geriatric patients
- Prepare, position, and assist with general OR cases and endoscopy procedures; manage instrumentation and sterile technique
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and in recovery; respond to codes; maintain cardiac monitoring as indicated
- Document care in the charting system (Epic preferred); ensure accurate, timely perioperative records
- Collaborate with Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary, and other Interdisciplinary team members
- Support pre/postoperative patient education and discharge planning in the PACU setting

Requirements
- RN license in California; compact license accepted with license in hand at submission
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; Endoscopy experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work in OR circulation and PACU recovery; comfortable with general OR procedures and ambulatory surgery
- On-call requirement: 2 days per week (including holidays and weekends); weekend coverage includes 3 on-call 24-hour shifts per month
- Holiday commitment: 3 of the following — Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day
- Floating: may be required to float to nearby sister facilities; local radius within 50 miles
