Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in a high-acuity setting, including monitoring hemodynamics, respiratory status, and neuro status
- Perform continuous patient assessments, interpret telemetry data, and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Manage complex therapies and devices (e.g., ventilators, IV infusions, vasoactive medications) per physician orders and protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, wound, isolation, and ancillary teams; document care plans and progress in the electronic health record
- Ensure patient safety through adherence to infection control, sterile technique, medication safety, and use of standard precautions
- Prepare patients and families for procedures and transitions, including transfers and discharges as appropriate

Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Colorado
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in critical care nursing (preferred)
- Telemetry experience preferred
- BLS certification required upon hire
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of start
- PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months
- TNCC preferred
- Ability to work nights and meet the demands of a travel assignment in a high-acuity setting
