Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Utica, NY, United States. Start date: June 15, 2026.13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,139–$2,305 per week. Shift: 2x3 Days. Work setting: inpatient Med Surg unit with a 56-bed capacity, covering Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult populations across Med Surg and related specialty services
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and monitor responses; operate standard clinical equipment (IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes as applicable)
- Perform thorough assessments, formulate and update care plans, document in EPIC EMR, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, medication reconciliation, and documentation accuracy; participate in rounds and care coordination
- Float to related units as needed and respond to acute changes in patient condition
Requirements
- Active New York RN license with Nursys verification; ALL RN licenses must be verifiable
- 2+ years of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience; travel experience required
- Current AHA BLS, NIHSS, and Chemo certification
- EPIC EMR experience
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
- Ability to work in an inpatient setting with adult patients (18+) on the specified unit
