Cardiovascular Technologist – Electrophysiology Tech, travel assignment in Olathe, KS. Start date 08/16/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $3,021–$3,160. Guaranteed hours: 0. Responsibilities
- Provide scrub and support for electrophysiology procedures in the EP lab, including device implants and ablations.
- Prepare the EP lab, manage sterile technique, and assist the EP team with case setup and instrumentation.
- Assist with pacemaker/ICD/Micra implants and ablations (Afib, Aflutter, WPW, SVT, VT, PVC) as part of the EP team.
- Support Watchman device procedures, laser lead extractions, and stimulation-related techniques as requested.
- Monitor and assist with patient care during and after procedures; document findings in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure equipment function and cleanliness.
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; complete credentialing steps as required.
Requirements
- Active ARRT or RCIS or RCES certification/license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of EP laboratory experience; hands-on experience with pacemakers (PPM, ICD, Micra), ablations, Watchman devices, laser lead extractions, and stimulation (Bloom) techniques.
- Experience with Cath/IR and EP is preferred; RN candidates with Cath/IR/EP scrub experience may be considered.
- Ability to work in an EP lab environment in Olathe, KS; credentialing tasks (CBC, DS, and lab work) must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
- Schedule alignment: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with potential for occasional extended hours to finish cases.
- Additional notes: nicotine-free facility; orientation required; EMR is EPIC; holidays not required; no weekend/on-call duties.
