Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist – Radiology in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date: 05/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,331–$2,427. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am). This travel temporary assignment is at a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiography procedures (X-ray) and computed tomography imaging, operating radiography and CT equipment to produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
- Corroborate patient clinical history, prepare patients, position and immobilize as needed, and provide instructions to obtain optimal results while minimizing anxiety.
- Determine radiographic technique exposure factors; ensure proper patient identification and documentation; maintain aseptic technique and patient safety.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy of identification; assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and interventional radiography procedures.
- Complete computed tomography duties: operate CT equipment, select appropriate protocol, perform venipuncture as needed, evaluate and manipulate images, and manage archival data.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state statutes and institutional policy; initiate basic life support if necessary.
- Willingness to float to X-ray responsibilities up to 50% of the time to support department needs; participate in required education for applicable programs; perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licenses/ Certifications: OBMI licensed and ARRT-registered CT technologist; current BLS certification.
- Experience: If travel requirements extend, CRASE training will be required; otherwise CRASE is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to perform CT and radiography procedures; capable of venipuncture for contrast administration as needed; able to work in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
- Additional: Must be willing to float to XRAY duties up to 50% of the assignment and maintain professional standards in line with medical ethics.
