Responsibilities
- Perform a range of radiographic imaging procedures across modalities (radiography, mammography, CT, and operative C-arm) for ambulatory and inpatient patients as directed by a physician or licensed provider and under general radiology supervision
- Verify patient identity with two identifiers, explain the procedure, obtain cooperation, alleviate patient anxiety, and ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
- Ensure diagnostic-quality images, assess technical quality, document results, and file orders and reports accurately within EMR
- Maintain radiation safety practices, equipment calibration, routine cleaning, and proper documentation; participate in hand-off communications and safety protocols
- Monitor department inventory, manage supplies, and support workflow to meet standard timeframes and prioritize tasks
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team; participate in performance improvement activities and flex scheduling as needed

Requirements
- Active ARRT (R) certification
- Current IEMA Radiography credential
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Radiography; experience with Mammography, CT scanning, and operative C-arm procedures is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging environment, adhere to safety standards, and operate all imaging modalities listed
- Strong computer skills to navigate EMR systems and document findings
