Registered Nurse – Med Surg, travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 05/12/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,092 to $2,149 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 3x12 nights. Setting: a critical access hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures in the medical-surgical unit.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Initiate the computerized Plan of Care on admission and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform general nursing duties across departments as assigned; agency nurses may be floated to other departments where qualified.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and convey empathy and compassion to patients experiencing pain, grief, or trauma; communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Adhere to hospital policies and participate in required education for applicable programs.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN/MSN preferred
- Experience: Previous Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
- Certifications: CMSRN preferred; CRASE training preferred; If travel extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required
- Ability to work in a hospital Med-Surg setting and to float to other departments as needed
